SSTMI TSUNAMI JUNIORS WIN SUPER KGV 10’S
SSTMI Tsunami Juniors from Tunku Mahkota Ismail Sports School won the under-16 category at the Super KGV 10’s Rugby Tournament.The defending champions beat SBPI Jempol 14-5 in the cup final held at the King George V School (SMKGV) in Seremban on Sunday.
This is the fourth consecutive victory for SSTMI at the Super KGV 10’s. The Tsunami Juniors showed class throughout the tournament by winning all their matches en route to the final. SBPI Jempol gave them a good fight but Syed Shazril‘s boys were simply at their best.
In the Girls under-16 category, SDAHA Mermaids beat Putat Lions to clinch the title. Tournament host, SMKGV bagged the Boys Under-13 category after beating Bandar Mas 12-0 in the final.
A total of 219 teams participated in the 2019 Super KGV 10’s. All the matches were played on four rugby fields in Seremban. There were six categories for boys and four categories for girls contested.
